Flight Lieutenant Mark Richards, Officer Commanding 1239 Squadron, said "I am delighted with the team's performance. We only had eight cadets representing the Squadron, and they did an excellent job, winning eight medals, five of which were gold. Special mention has to go to both Cadet Metin who won three gold medals and to Corporal Pickering who won two gold medals and a bronze medal. These performances, along with the others in the team helped the Squadron to overall runners up for this years' competition. We're proud of each and every one of them, a great team effort and we wish both Cadet Metin and Corporal Pickering all the best at the Region competition next month".
