To achieve an Air Cadet CV, the cadet will have flown in a RAF training aircraft under instruction, taken part in target shooting, achieved a bronze Duke of Edinburgh award and have attended a residential camp. These are all activities that demonstrate commitment, organisational skills, the ability to interact and work with others, following precise instructions and showing motivation and persistence, all of which are key skills required in the workplace.

The presentation of Youth First Aid certificates followed, this award which is accredited by the St John Ambulance, required the recipients to undertake 12 hours of training and assessment to demonstrate the required competence for them to successfully pass.
